1. Lexan Side Walls allow for increased visibility.
2. The Mat on the floor of the Carrier and Lower Ramp was one of our most carefully thought out details. We knew what was riding on it, literally. We chose this eco-friendly flooring made from reclaimed rubber material that is vulcanized for extra strength to handle the pressure of an animal but has an elastic bounce for comfort and support. The thick raised channels create a "ladder" for your pet to easily climb up into the Carrier and maintain control when coming out of it. The channels also help direct liquids instead of allowing them to build up on the surface of the Mat. They are even perfect for setting treats in! Then we cut and installed it to completely cover the entire Floor of the Carrier to reduce slippage, so that your pet can achieve maximum traction.
3. Two D-Rings are located inside of the Carrier. One is located near the top and the other one is located near the bottom.
4. A leash and collar attaches to the D-Rings, ensuring that your pet remains safely inside of the Carrier.
5. The Tread Tray is easily removed for thorough cleaning of the Mat and Tray's underside.
6. The Safety Latch ensures that the Carrier will not lift and will remain securely locked in the downward position while your pet enters and exits the Carrier.
7. The Foot Release Pedal, when lightly pressed, allows the Carrier to be guided up into a near level position.
8. Two Gas Charged Struts assist you in lifting the weight of the Carrier and your pet to a near level position.
9. Striker Pins lock the Upper and Lower Ramps safely in place.
10. Handle Ramp Latches allow you to close the Ramps in a single action. They also guide the Ramp's Striker Pins into a locking position, preventing the Ramps from accidentally opening.
11. The PUSH Handles provide a sturdy and comfortable hand guide when lowering the Carrier.
12. Anodized aluminum flat-oval low profile Handles are screwed securely into the top of the Upper and Lower Ramps. These solid handles fit nicely in the hand and provide maximum control when lifting and lowering the Ramps, along with lifting the Carrier when needed. Their low profile design makes them virtually unnoticeable to your pet when entering and exiting the Carrier when using the Ramps.
13. Safety Release Knobs open the Upper and Lower Ramps.
14. The Track is a V-Grove Design, made of an aluminum core with steel Rails. This ideal combination of metals makes it lightweight yet ultra strong where the Carriage connects tightly to the sides of the Rail. Some flex has been built into the Rail in order to deflect permanent damage away from the Carrier due to natural movements and pressure from you or your pet. The Rail is only 2 1/2 inches wide, keeping a majority of the stairway open.

15. Rails are precision cut and finished. A Splice Bottom and Splice Top securely and seamlessly lock the Rails together for a smooth ride.
16. Rail Stabilizers can be easily modified for left or right hand stair installations, simply by moving the Spacer to the other side of the Center Step Mount, ensuring one side of the stairway is clear. The Rail Stabilizers are also designed to be installed on the tread (as shown) or flipped and installed on the kick plate.
17. The End Cap reduces the risk of damage to the end of the Rail and gives the Rail a nicely finished appearance.
18. The Main Control Box.
19. The Main Control Box contains two 12v batteries which are designed on a relay switch to change over as a secondary power source, should the main power source be interrupted. A Fan is built-in to cycle on and off as needed to maintain optimal motor temperature. Fuses are connected in series with the components to be protected from overcurrent, so that if a Fuse were to blow, it will open the entire circuit and stop any current through the components, protecting the unit. Fuses can easily and quickly be replaced.
20. Should the main power source be interrupted to the Main Control Box, the secondary power source will engage automatically. A Red Light will illuminate while the Green OFF/ON Light will go dark, as the unit remains in the ON position.

26. The Lower Control comes with two user options. One is where the Lower Control Switch is hard wired inside of the wall.
27. The Lower Control comes with two user options. The other is where the Lower Control Switch is mounted on the wall. Mounting materials and Raceway for concealing the Cable are included.
28. The Cable is neatly tucked up under and along the Rail using adhesive Raceway that folds and snaps together. Gaps have been cut out above the Center Step Mounts to allow the Cable to continue to run up the rail and through the Raceway.
29. There is an Upper Limit Switch that gently stops the lift when it reaches the top of the stairway.
30. There is a Lower Limit Switch that gently stops the lift when it reaches the bottom of the stairway.
31. The Catch Pawl will engage and stop the Carriage on the next nearest T-nut located along the Rail. This will prevent the Carrier from traveling down the Rail, should the Carriage Cable break.
